Individual intern assignments will vary, but duties may include electronic imaging, scanning, image processing, computer programming, record stripping, accessioning, web design, research, or writing. The intern program includes a heavy focus on the application of computer technology to both the historical method and archival practice. Some assignments may require regular off-site work. Interns will receive an hourly wage, paid bi-weekly. Hourly rates are based on education level: high school at $8.70 per hour, undergraduate at $10.63 per hour, and graduate at $11.25 per hour. Legal research, legislation and policy review: Interns will assist the Assistant Maryland Attorney Generals assigned to DLLR in legal research for case preparation, legislation and policy review.
