Anthropology Club has been established for the purpose of the education surrounding anthropology by promoting cultural relativism, an anthropological term celebrating diversity and mutual respect of differences. Anthropology club aims to strengthen relationships within the community by bringing together people of different backgrounds through campus gatherings, workshops, and guest speakers. The club also aims to support students in the study of anthropology at UMBC, both within the major and across campus.
All events, groups, organizations, and centers are open for full participation by all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other protected category under applicable federal law, state law, and the University's nondiscrimination policy.
