I Care Because

WHY? Why do i let people get under my skin? look people are cruel that is just who people are and we as one should stand for our justice, and shouldn't us victims be able to have a great 4 years of high school like everyone else but people just take it from us. NO! we need to fight back it is our time to stand against these bullies cause its unfair, YES i said its unfair we should all be treated the same not one person, kid, adult, or anyone is above another we are all human so STOP.

I am a gay man and I came out at 17 in 1981 and I was a victim of bulling because of that. But it started much younger because I was different. When I spoke up it just got worse. It affected my schoolwork and I barley graduated. I loved schoolwork btu I hated school. I had a gay friend end himself at 14 because of it. Things like this need to stop.

i always feel like i dont fit in. i get made fun of for a lot of stuff and now my brother is also being bullied. i always feel so alone. i dont really know what to do. i feel like im invisible and like i dont even matter to anyone. its horrible and NOBODY deserves to be bullied in any way. STAY STRONG

jayden, 14,

The reason i speak out against bullying is because i recently became a fan of this organization called "Life Vest Inside" and when i was reading about it one of theyre main goals was to prevent bullying through kindness. When i saw the video i was so touched that i started going through to more videos! I just started crying after every video knowing that there are people out there who can treat others that way. So my new motto is "lets stop speaking against bullying but for kindness". We NEED change NOW!

Celia, 18, New York

I care because I lost my best friend. I care because when I walk down the hallway, people give me weird stares. I care because I know how it feels. I care, because I wanna make the voices that can no longer speak, heard.

Samantha, 12, California

This has happened to me before, I remember when I saw this girl and she saw me and I was her target. I was often called fat by her. I was a bit overweight and it was my weak spot. That's why I was scared to go to races and anything that could show that I was a bad runner and that I was overweight. I used to go to school with my stomach sucked in and I used to run to the bathroom and take deep breathes befor eI held in my stomach. I used to do it soo much that now I am used to it. But it never felt good. BULLIES HAVE NO RIGHT, THEY NEVER DO AND THEY NEVER WILL. Slowly we can help 1 bully at a time to make schools and mre a better place.
