We’re excited to introduce College Students for Democracy, a new student organization at UMBC dedicated to civic engagement, activism, and protecting democratic values.

Our mission is to educate, empower, and mobilize students to take action—on campus, in our communities, and in the world beyond. We’re here for anyone who cares about issues like voting rights, human rights, justice, and equity—and wants to do something about it.

We do tabling events, volunteer work, speaker visits, phone banking, protests, informational events. We plan to get speakers on campus and help students to learn more about what’s happening in the country and how they can make a difference.
