Hello, Special Programs students!
You've received this message because you are enrolled in a summer class that is part of UMBC's new summer Special Programs. Summer is a great time to experience new things or dive into something that can help you expand your world view and make a difference in your community. This summer session you can make those things possible. As a Special Programs student you will not only broaden your perspective through the course you’re taking, you will also have the unique opportunity to take learning beyond the classroom.
This summer you will have the unique opportunity to participate in events and activities that give you a break from studying as well as connect you to the greater UMBC community.
Also, don’t forget that UMBC offers extensive summer academic support to help you academically outside of the classroom. Take advantage of the Learning Resources Center’s one-on-one tutoring, writing help, and student-led study groups.
