Black Women: Cross-Cultural Perspectives
This course analyzes black women's activism by exploring their lives across the globe as they fight for social justice in areas like politics and economics. While examining their lives throughout the African diaspora, student will utilize comparative and interdisciplinary methods to investigate how their presence has historically influenced sexual and racial politics.
Also offered as GWST 370, this course fulfills the Culture and Social Science GEP requirements.
