    business practices. The Leadership Award recognizes organizations that
    have shown a strong commitment to the implementation of sustainable practices,
    the demonstration of measurable results, and the continual improvement of
    environmental performance.</span></p>

    accelerates UMBC's target for carbon neutrality from 2075 to 2050 while also

  <Title>Microfiber Innovation Challenge</Title>

    <div class="html-content">The Flotilla Foundation, The Arthur Vining Davis Foundations, and Conservation X Labs are powering the <a href="https://conservationxlabs.com/microfibers" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Microfiber Innovation Challenge. </a><div><br></div><div>Conservation X Labs is calling on <strong>everyone</strong>. We need scientists, 
    engineers, marketers, biologists, makers, artists, and everyone else who
     cares about our planet’s future to use their unique skills to help us 
    solve the microfiber challenge.  <span>They are awarding </span><strong>$650,000</strong><span> to transformative innovations addressing plastic microfiber pollution in the following categories: </span></div><div><span>1. Replace </span>textiles that are sources of plastic microfibers with 
    alternatives designed for non-toxic biodegradation in natural 
    environments.</div><div><span>2.
