The tools are focused on <a href="https://sustainability.umbc.edu/home/cap20/climate-resilience/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Climate Resilience</a> and <a href="https://sustainability.umbc.edu/explore/ej/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Environmental Social Justice. </a></span></div><div><span><br></span></div><h3><span>Climate Resilience </span></h3><div><span><br></span></div><div><h5><a href="https://www.arcgis.com/apps/dashboards/67f3f1ceeaee4d758c1c54e9ccb968ed" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">National Risk Index Dashboard</a></h5><p>This dashboard is designed to help the UMBC community better understand the implications of climate change both on campus and at their geographic home. Specifically, this tool address the risks and associated impacts, of climate change, on communities and the capabilities of communities to adapt and recover.</p><h5><a href="https://umbc-ges.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapSeries/index.html?appid=c322249f52d64fc1910e976bc21e9943" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Retriever Resilience Resilience Mapper @ UMBC </a></h5><p>This tool, a companion to the UMBC Climate Action Plan, allows users to explore the various natural hazards that may impact campus. Users can look through a series of maps and features which are designed to help the UMBC community better understand the implications of climate change.</p></div><div><br></div><h3>Environmental Social Justice</h3><div><br></div><div><h5><a href="https://datastudio.google.com/reporting/8230fad1-ea82-4000-80ab-cc0ecde361d8/page/KvUJC?s=liY7xQRC-8s" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">EJ Screen @ UMBC</a></h5><p>EJSCREEN is an environmental justice mapping and screening tool that provides EPA with a nationally consistent dataset and approach for combining environmental and demographic indicators. EJ Screen @ UMBC is designed as an interactive dashboard and companion to the Environmental Justice Screening and Mapping Tool. The dashboard displays information about the 11 EJ indicators and UMBC’s demographics.</p><h5><a href="https://umbc-ges.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=6187452d31ed47b6b09e451a0359570c" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Environmental Justice Screening and Mapping Tool </a></h5><p>This tool is a “map-centric” application where the user can interact directly with the map or enable additional functionality by selecting widgets on the top banner. The tool is designed as a geographic companion for the EJ Screen @ UMBC Dashboard.</p><p><br></p></div></div>
