Turkey Delivery

Volunteers are needed for turkey drop-offs and pick-ups on December 15th, 16th, 20th, 21st & 22nd. Volunteers will pick up uncooked turkeys at the Maryland State Fairgrounds located at 2200 York Rd. in Lutherville on the 15th, 16th & 20th and deliver them to local restaurants and caterers starting at 10 AM on those dates. Drop-offs will be on the 20th, 21st & 22nd and will entail volunteers picking up boxes at the fairgrounds and then picking up the birds from restaurants/caterers and then bringing the turkeys backs to the fairgrounds. The process should take less than 2 hours each volunteer date.
For volunteers who do not have their own vehicles, feel free to come along as helpers to assist drivers in delivering the birds. Carpooling is available, so please reach out to me at thegoodmanisgreat@outlook.com if you need carpooling. For all volunteers, regardless of whether you require carpooling or not, please e-mail me at the aforementioned e-mail address indicating which days you are available to volunteer and what size vehicle you will be using (the bigger the better.)
