With our informal/semi-formal, welcoming, and fun environment, SWSA is the perfect place to network and get connected with other social work students and faculty. Regardless of major, we provide on and off-campus volunteer experiences to students which allow you to learn hands-on skills that benefit our local communities. We also have amazing guest speaker/discussion events with accomplished social work professionals regarding various topics. There are no academic or fee requirements for joining or maintaining your status as a member, but we do highly prefer you try to make it to 3 events per semester!

- Retriever Essentials Service Event - Friday, February 21st from 12:00 - 1:00 PM
- Social Work Student Advocacy Day Watch Party - Thursday, February 27th from 8:45 AM - 3:30 PM
- ** Reminder that MARCH IS SOCIAL WORK MONTH!! The NASW 2025 theme is "Social Work: Compassion + Action."
