As per UMBC Department of Theatre's Student Ticket Policy:

Each UMBC student is entitled to one complimentary ticket to any one matinee performance of the currently running show. Limit one ticket per UMBC student ID. Seats will be distributed on a first come/first serve basis beginning at noon, the Wednesday prior to opening. Tickets can be claimed at tickets.umbc.edu on that date.

Complimentary tickets for DEAD MAN’S CELL PHONE's Sunday matinee performance will be released TODAY (11/14) at noon and will be available until they sell out. We will have a limited number of tickets available at the Box Office on the day of the show, but these tickets go quick!

This offer only applies to the 2pm matinee performance on Sunday, November 18.

Following an accidental meeting in a coffee shop, a woman, Jean, inherits (or rather, pockets) an incessantly ringing cell phone from underneath its recently deceased owner, Gordon. Caught up in a series of strange encounters, Jean must confront her own assumptions about morality, redemption, and the need to connect to another human being in a technologically obsessed world. Wildly imaginative and, at times, funny, sad, and touchingly beautiful, the play muses on the absurdity of today’s human interaction and the difficulty of finding and holding onto meaningful relationships.

$15 general admission, $10 students/seniors. Tickets are available online or at the Box Office, subject to availability.

*Complimentary tickets will be available for UMBC students for the 2 p.m. matinee performance. These tickets will become available online Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at noon.

All ticket sales benefit the UMBC Department of Theatre Scholarship fund.

UMBC is located about 10 minutes south of the Inner Harbor along I-95. For this event, free visitor parking is available in Lot 8, directly adjacent to the Performing Arts and Humanities Building, where the Proscenium Theatre is located on the first floor — please click here for additional information.

The show runs about 2 hours with an intermission. Tickets still available for purchase for every performance.
