  <Title>Exploring the Use of GenAI in Formative Assessment of Student Learning</Title>

    <p><span>UMBC’s DoIT and Faculty Development Center will hold a “study day” panel 12-1pm on Wednesday, May 14, to explore how generative AI systems can help students prepare for exams. </span><span>Three UMBC faculty members will show and tell how and why they are exploring the use of GenAI   tools in formative assessment of student learning. </span></p>
