Welcome to a new Fall semester, and we hope you had a wonderful summer break.

The president would like to personally apologize for the lack of an email announcement, but due to some technical difficulties, we are resorting to our social media as a fallback.

As some of you may have noticed, Fall Involvementfest, which was supposed to be yesterday, did not happen due to weather. Our club will be at the new date for Involvementfest, which is Monday, September 11th, from 12-3 PM. That was the not so good news.

The good news is that despite that, we still have our room registered for tomorrow's club meeting, in Admin 101 at 6 PM. Feel free to drop by! It will be a very casual meeting, where it will entirely BYOA, and attendance will likely be all returning members of the club due to Involvementfest not having happened this week.

We hope to see you there, and be sure to brainstorm some anime to watch either on Crunchyroll or through physical copies.

The semester has come to a close, and that means one thing! Today May 12th and on through tomorrow May 13th is UMBC Anime Society’s 24 Hours of Anime! Marathon takes place tonight in Lecture Hall 5, Engineering 027 and begins at 7 PM. It will last from 7 PM tonight until 7 PM tomorrow. Some things to bring: Sleeping gear such as a blanket and pillow, electronics you want to use like your laptop and phone (and their chargers), anime you want to share, and if you’re feeling generous bring money, snacks to share, or anime related goods to donate.
