Hello UMBC students and staff! UMBC's Pre-Optometry Society will be holding eyeglass donation drive from Sept 27th-Oct 18th. The Purpose of this drive is not just to collect eyeglasses but to send  them to Lion's club eyeglass recycling center where they will be fixed with appropriate lenses, and given to those who are not able to afford new pair of glasses to correct their vision. This is an opportunity to do simple community service as well as service to our planet by recycling old frames rather than putting them in a landfill! More info coming soon!
