D&D Player Workshop Tonight
Today during club hours (7:00pm-10:00pm) there will be a Player Workshop. We will go over how to make characters, what to do and what not to do for your first game and finish with a walkthrough of building a new character.

The workshop will start in the normal club room, ILSB 116A, but will probably move to another room around 7:15 pm. If you show up after that time you can come to the main room, and someone can help lead you to where it is.

Experienced Players are also welcome to add or comment on what is being shared, so that new players can hear from many sides.

Welcome to Week 1 of the Games Club! The first official week of UMBC Tabletop Club.
 
We will be meeting this Tuesday (9/12) and Thursday (9/14) from 7pm-10:00pm in ILSB 116A.

This week, come by to get into new groups for board games or for D&D sessions! Especially for those looking to enter D&D campaigns, being at the first few meetings gives you the biggest chance of finding a group!

If you are a new player or a new DM to D&D, don’t fret as we will be holding workshops for those who want to learn. The dates for these workshops will be posted soon in TTRPG Announcements.

As always, we are bringing games for you to play but feel free to bring your games! We strongly encourage people to show up with their favorite board games or D&D adventures!

Welcome to all the new people and hope you had a good involvement fest. 

Due to not having clearance for ILSB yet, we will be holding our meeting tomorrow in the Student Org room located on the second floor of the Commons.  We will be meeting from 7 pm -10 pm and you are welcome to join at any time. 

While no full D&D campaign has started yet, this is a good opportunity to meet people and form groups.

All the games the club owns will be available to play. You are also allowed to bring your own games if you want. For a full list of games the club owns, you can look at this google sheets: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wN94Q94KZpLeX5zZ44tTqoGuRjW2I2o_a0DWrr7Gw5c/edit?usp=sharing. 

Please note the Student Org room is a public space so there might be other people studying so please keep them in mind.

In case you're itching to play board games, we're hosting an unofficial club meeting in the student org room this Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm.

 

In case you don't know where that is, it's the room with all of the cabinets on the second floor of the commons.

 

Official meetings start after Involvement fest, which is on Wednesday, September 6th from 12pm-2pm

It’s almost the end of Summer and the beginning of the Fall semester. Welcome to all the returning tabletop lovers and newcomers.

 

Hold onto your dice and board games for a few more weeks as we wait for academic clearance which should happen after Involvement Fest for official club meeting. Speaking of Involvement Fest, it is being held on September 6th at Erikson Field and you can come and talk with some of our clubs’ officers if you have any questions or are just curious.

We also send a farewell to everyone that are graduating this semester and hope you the best on your journey ahead and that you are still able to come to club occasionally. We would also like to shout out former President Matt Sachs and Vice President Bryce Witmer who are both graduating. Tabletop Gaming Club would not be the club it is today without either of you, so for that you two will be especially missed.
