Service is another of our community's four pillars and our members are constantly giving back to the community around us. Whether it is through community service or philanthropy, fraternity and sorority members give their time to help those around the world. Our community alone gives hundreds of service hours and raises thousands of dollars for charitable causes each year.
Check out the attached photo from the Fall Welcome Week Service Project that was sponsored by the UMBC Fraternity and Sorority Community. The students that volunteered spent the day cleaning trash up from around the campus.
