This Shabbat, celebrate Spooky season in the UMBC Sukkah!  For this special "Spookot" edition of our weekly Shabbat oneg, we'll be decorating pumpkins, enjoying fall-themed snacks and beverages, and making crafts of the monsters and magical creatures of Jewish folklore. On Sukkot many Jews observe the tradition of welcoming in usphizin, or the spirits of great figures from Jewish history, and so we'll  make sure to save some challah and grape juice for any ghostly visitors who might drop by!
