Undergraduate Research Symposium
The Chemistry - Biology Interface is a diffuse, dynamic and rapidly expanding frontier. Establishing the molecular basis for biological phenomena is the ultimate goal. This symposium seeks to foster communication of the latest relevant novel results and concepts. Exclusively undergraduate research in all areas of chemistry, biology and biochemistry is featured in the belief that progress at the interface of the chemistry and biology requires cross-fertilization from the broadest possible spectrum of these disciplines.
Now in its fourteenth year, the Symposium invites contributions from all interested Undergraduate concerning their research in any aspect of Chemistry, Biology and Biochemistry. These latest advances will be disseminated in a day-long event at which typically gather more than 400 students and mentors comprising about 200 contributions. This year we will follow exclusively a poster presentation format in two sessions. Posters will be judged by a panel of participating mentors and other attendees and awards will be made for 1st and 2nd place rankings in each category.
Registration for the Symposium is required , but free, and refreshments and lunch are provided gratis. Please plan on joining us for this exceptional undergraduate experience!
