Parisa Soleimanifar worked with Drosophila host-parasitoid wasp communities, focusing on Drosophila melanogaster and Drosophila simulans. She characterized the body sizes, abundances, and distributions of each species across different geographic locations, allowing her to generate hypotheses about factors determining species distributions and coexistence.
