This program provides advanced training in the manipulation and analysis of proteins for undergraduate students. It facilitates a deep understanding of experimental laboratory research, insights into protein biochemistry and contemplation of the broader context of research. A wide range of student research projects mentored by faculty in the Department of Biochemistry is available. Students who are planning a career in research, but have limited undergraduate research opportunities at their home institution, and students from underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply.
