Come to URCAD on Wednesday, April 25, where Interdisciplinary Studies major Ethan Griffin will present his research “Urban Transportation Landscapes: A GIS and Political Historical Narrative of Baltimore’s Transportation Deficiency” in UC 312 at 11:30 a.m.
The intent of the research is to represent the extent of Baltimore City’s transportation deficiency through the use of an interdisciplinary mixed method analysis utilizing the lens of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Political History. Metropolitan transportation is a complex network of mobility which contributes to the success of tangential urban systems which include but are not limited to access to green space, education and economics.
