This summer the University of Notre Dame Graduate School is offering our 10th Summer Research Opportunities Program (SROP) which offers many opportunities to prepare undergraduates for graduate school success. Any U.S. citizens or permanent residents that are from an underrepresented group, are low-income or first generation students and will be juniors and rising seniors in Fall 2019, in any discipline offered by the Notre Dame Graduate School, interested in attending the program are encouraged to apply. The program will run from May 20-July 27, 2019.
Upload a statement of intent, a CV, an unofficial copy of transcripts, and one letter of recommendation uploaded by the recommender.
In addition to working with faculty in their program of interest, they will develop grant and fellowship proposals, as well as graduate school applications, receiving feedback from experienced higher education professionals. They also participate in a GRE preparation workshop and weekly lunch meetings with Notre Dame faculty and administrators. There are social events and workshops sponsored by the Graduate School and other REUs on campus.
