Maya Mueller, who graduated in August, 2020 and was a URA scholar, presented a poster at the 41st Annual Conference of the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics organized virtually in Krakow, Poland (https://iscb2020.info/).
The title of the poster was "Application of an SEIRD model to track the spread of COVID-19 in Nigeria".
Maya's poster was selected as one of the top 3 presentations at the conference!
As a URA Scholar, Maya conducted undergraduate research mentored by Dr. Bedrich Sousedik, "Comparing Predictive Data Assimilation Methods on S-I-R Epidemic Forecasts”.
Maya is currently an assistant researcher for Drexel under Dr. Simi Hoque on applying an Integrated Urban Metabolism Analysis Tool (https://nextcity.org/daily/entry/math-tool-big-data-planning-solution).
