Ink & Pixels 2018 Saturday, April 28th | 12:30pm - 3:30pm at The University of Baltimore Ink & Pixels is back for 2018, but this time with some notable changes amidst limited availability of our board, reviewers, and speakers. To help designers who want to make a good impression in interviews, need a new perspective on their portfolio, or want fresh eyes on a current project, on Saturday April 28, we are asking attendees to bring their resumes, cover letters, questions, and 1–2 portfolio projects for an in-depth critique in a small group setting. With a select set of design professionals acting as mentors to these small groups of other professionals and students. Then, in September we'll follow up with a day of professional development, including full portfolio reviews, during AIGA Emerge Awareness Week. The event schedule will proceed as follows: Registration Opens: 12:30–1pm Introductions: 1pm—1:30pm Small Group Critiques: 1:30pm–3:30pm So please, pass the word along to your students and encourage them to join us! Interested parties can register here, tickets are limited. One last note: student AIGA members will recieve a large discount on tickets, however, we're offering your students who aren't members to use the code: AIGASTUDENT, to get a non-member student discount on their ticket as well.
