The Shriver Center at UMBC is looking for a skilled and energetic event photographer to support its four summer Public Service Scholar programs (Governor’s Summer Internship Program, Sondheim Nonprofit Leadership Program, MDOT Fellows Program, Public Service Law fellow) for several dates during Summer 2018. Many of the events are exciting opportunities/field trips that the photographer can enjoy as well.

Duties will include:
arriving promptly on location to photograph events
creating professional quality slideshows for presentations, and
creating and managing photo albums for the programs’ social media sites.
Applicants are required to have their own equipment and must have past experience with photography, particularly event photography. Several events will be held at UMBC, while others are off campus. The photographer ideally will have their own transportation. Hourly rate will be commensurate with experience.
Visual Arts and Media Communication majors are preferred, but all majors may apply.
