American Studies Professor Nicole King's AMST 422/682 "Preserving Places" students are hosting an event and walking tour starting at 2pm at the Lion Brothers Building (875 Hollins Street) this Saturday, May 12. There will be a StoryMap website debut + zine release & walking tour. There's free food too. Promo materials attached and here's the Facebook page.
Markele Cullins (a talented Visual Arts major) designed the zine. The group is working with the Southwest Partnership, who is hosting a Stories of Sowebo open mic at a new restaurant Hollins Place (1116 Hollins St.) at 4pm.
