Video Production Semester/Summer PAID Intern

Interns will act as part time members of the staff, performing a variety of duties related to the production of video for both social channels and internal channels. In addition to learning how to film and edit fully produced video, interns will learn the need for accessibility in video, and learn about how the video production staff works with other campus communications entities (news, social media, alumni/development, recruitment, etc.).
UMBC Marketing
Interns will act as part time members of the staff, performing a variety of duties related to the production of video for both social channels and internal channels. In addition to learning how to film and edit fully produced video, interns will learn the need for accessibility in video, and learn about how the video production staff works with other campus communications entities (news, social media, alumni/development, recruitment, etc.).
Interns will create a wide variety of content, within the consistency of the brand and tone of UMBC. Video interns will be specifically tasked with creating a story around the student experience through filming on weekend and at nights at student events.
Interns will further be able to define the UMBC brand through the editing and final product of these student led videos. Some video filming or editing preferred, but not required. Storytelling, writing, or animation are other skills we seek for this position.
Interns will work 8 hours a week split between campus events and at the Alumni House office, earning $11/hour.
