A multi-year, excellent opportunity for Visual Art undergraduate:
UMBC's Imaging Research Center,
a 32 year old center of research in visualization and media, is seeking
a Visual Arts undergraduate to do design, photography and writing for
the IRC's outreach materials. The position begins as soon as possible
this summer and will continue during all semesters through Spring of
2021, possibly including next summer as well. Hours are 20 hours/wk this
summer and up to 16 hrs/wk during the semesters.The pay begins at
$13/hr.
This is an excellent opportunity to
learn new skills, develop a portfolio with a reputable organization, and
work with those from other disciplines on meaningful projects.
Who is eligible?
Rising
Juniors, that is, students who will be Juniors in the Fall of 2019, are
preferred, to allow for the possibility that the same student could hold
the position through Spring 2021 in order to maintain continuity in the
job.
