Check out this animation on TED-Ed: https://ed.ted.com/…/a-day-in-the-life-of-a-teenage-samurai…written by UMBC History Professor Dr. Constantine Vaporis. Dr. Vaporis says: "This work of historical fiction was created in collaboration with TED-Ed, with animation by WOW-HOW studio ... It was crafted in a style that is meant to be engaging to young viewers; historically truthful, but not photorealistic. The creative process required about eight months and involved me as the writer and educator, (working with)editors, animators, a voice artist, and a music and sound effects engineer. Fortunately, I was invited to give feedback on each step of the creative process, including animation style, historical depictions, narration, and soundtrack."
