Students
interested in becoming Writing Center tutors may submit materials to
the Interim Writing Center Director, Ms. Elaine MacDougall, either by
dropping them off at the Writing Center, delivering them to her mailbox
on the fourth floor of the PAHB, or by emailing her at efick1@umbc.edu.
Interested candidates
MUST include TWO letters of recommendation (from college professors—not
high school teachers), a resume, and two writing samples, totaling at
least 10 pages of college-level writing. Students from ALL MAJORS are
encouraged to apply!
