Apply for the New Student Success Team! Help welcome and support new students for Fall 2021 As you may remember from your own experience, transitioning to life at UMBC is exciting and full of opportunity, but can also be a lot to take in. The New Student Success Team is looking for students who want to assist in the transition for new students to UMBC. There are three different groups you can apply for:

- Welcome Week Leaders (Woolies)
- IHU/TRS Peer Facilitators
- Academic Peer Advocates

These positions vary slightly in nature and structure, but all share the core value of supporting new students to make their UMBC career begin in the best way possible.

- connect with faculty and staff who share your interests
- increase leadership capacity

- learn to plan events, budget, run meetings, market opportunities, and more skills that are attractive to graduate schools and employers
- enrich your UMBC experience through conferences, travel when safe, practical learning, service, and more
