    <div class="html-content"><p><strong>Address the Toll of Prolonged Anxiety, Anticipatory Stress and Emotional Labor</strong></p><p><span>Many professional staff and faculty have described their toolboxes as being empty. Their ability to motivate themselves, let alone their colleagues, has become difficult, if not nearly impossible. The stress and uncertainty from the past 18 months has taken its toll on everyone, and although people remain hopeful, the near future regarding the pandemic remains unclear. Having to make difficult personal and professional decisions has become the norm, often without a sense of what’s to come and a lack of transparency from university leadership has led to extraordinary and prolonged stress and anxiety.</span></p><p><span>Join us as our expert presenter discusses the current college work environment - exacerbated by the pandemic - and its serious implications for faculty and staff members’ mental and physical health. Learn about innovative strategies to help yourself and others to recognize and reduce stress, anxiety and burnout. She will share effective intervention strategies to address the toll of the prolonged anxiety, anticipatory stress, and emotional labor you have been experiencing as an individual and as a cohort.</span><br></p><p><span>Learn the necessary coping strategies to mitigate any existing chronic stress or anxiety you are experiencing, embrace self-care and avoid burnout.
