Join the Pride Center and Women's, Gender, & Equity Center in celebrating Trans Week of Visibility!!
On Wednesday, April 1st, from 1-4, we will be in University Center 312 for our Trans Day of Visibility Panel and Resource Fair: Visibility in Higher Education!
Resources will include Trans Maryland and the Pride Center of Maryland!
The panel will be facilitated by Chole Kastner, MSW Intern in the Division of Institutional Equity - Community and Culture Unit, and facilitator of the Women's, Gender, & Equity Center's Spectrum Discussion Group!
Panelists will include:
August Wichmann, Professor of the Intro to Trans Studies Course
Josh Abrams, Instructional Design Specialist in the Division of Information Technology
Caleb Ruck, Graduate Assistant in the Center for Social Justice Dialogue
And several undergraduate students!
Join us for sweet treats and a meaningful conversation about visibility, representation, and navigating campus and academic settings as trans and non-binary people.
The agenda of the event follows:
1-1:30 Food, Mingling, Resource Fair
1:30-3:30 Panel Discussion (including lots of time for questions)
3:30-4 Resources Fair and more Mingling
