Howard County's HopeWorks is looking for hospital advocates!
Hospital Advocates (on-call volunteer): Seeking compassionate, supportive Hospital Advocates to provide immediate crisis intervention, emotional support, and advocacy to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Advocates are responsible for responding to Howard County General Hospital within 30 minutes of receiving a call. Candidates must complete a volunteer application, pass a background check and medical clearance, and attend extensive training. Hospital Advocate must be at least 21 years of age.
