Cetinić provides information on PACE's OCI in EO Image of the Day
The Earth Observatory Image of the Day for August 25, 2025, "A Sea Aswirl With Chlorophyll," provides a look at "PACE’s Ocean Color Instrument (OCI), which extends a decades-long record of chlorophyll-a measurements in ocean surface waters." In particular, "the images of the southern Norwegian Sea were created using observations made by PACE’s OCI on July 12, 2025." Ivona Cetinić (616/MSU) provides insight on the chlorophyll data and what the images are actually telling us about the marine environment.
