We want to inform you about the planned "No Kings" protest events scheduled to take place in the Baltimore region this Saturday, June 14, 2025. Some of these events are scheduled near areas that may directly impact UMBC Transit routes, specifically our Catonsville and Route 40 routes.
Protests are planned in the following nearby locations and times:
These gatherings may result in traffic delays, detours, or temporary stop closures along the affected routes during these timeframes. Riders who plan to use our bus services on Saturday should allow for extra travel time and stay informed by checking the Transit App and website for real-time updates.
At this time, no changes to service are scheduled. However, UMBC Transit will closely monitor conditions in coordination with local authorities and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the safety and reliability of our service. We appreciate your patience and understanding as these regional events may impact our normal operations.
