Eligible employees must be employed by a USM institution as a regular employee with at least one (1) year of cumulative service.  Funding can be used for items not covered by tuition remission, such as fees and textbooks, fees for non-credit courses and professional conferences. Funds are awarded no later than July 30 of the current fiscal year.  There is a limit of one award per lifetime.
