Dear SWEethearts,
Are you seeking for ways to volunteer and give back to the community? Do you want to include SWE on your resume but do not have enough points? Here is YOUR chance!!
Give back to the community and help save lives!
Blood is constantly in need and your contribution will help save lives!
We will be partnering up with American Red Cross for two days during the week, please click on the link to volunteer:
Tabling (Monday, 4/25 @11am-2pm in the Breezeway):
Volunteers will be scheduling appointments for those who wants to donate blood! Encourage your family, friends, and professors to schedule an appointment to donate blood!
Blood Drive: (Thursday, 4/28 @8:30am-9:30pm in the Commons):
Volunteers will be checking blood donors and directing the donors to the designated spaces. Volunteers may also deliver food/drinks to the donors as requested by the nurse.
Please Volunteer as your service will be truly appreciated!

As many of you are likely aware, May 1st is the national deposit deadline for you to declare your intent to attend UMBC or any other university nationally. The Walters Art Museum is pleased to offer opportunities for qualified undergraduate and graduate candidates to intern in various museum divisions throughout the year. Based on a system of supervised learning, the internships enable interns to understand how a museum operates and how to relate this experience to academic and professional goals. Credit can be arranged with your college/university.
All candidates will submit a cover letter, resume and all supplemental materials to internships@thewalters.org by April 29, 2016. Some internship positions require additional materials (see below).
