    <div class="html-content">Did you know that the Erickson School has a student interest group, The Wisdom Weavers?  <div><span><br></span></div>
    <div><span>Join us and take part in various activities that: promote outreach and service to older adults in our local community; provide intergenerational opportunities; spread positive messages about aging; and increase awareness of the many career opportunities in this field. </span></div>
    <div><span><br></span></div>
    <div><span>Members will have the opportunity to network, volunteer, be involved in educational and social gatherings, and more.</span></div>

    <span><br></span><p><span>Individuals in pre-professional programs, studying social work, biology, public health, health administration and policy, sociology, psychology, and those enrolled in gender, women's, + sexuality and aging studies programs may find this group particularly rewarding as they learn about populations within their given field. </span></p>

    <p><span>Interested in Aging?  The Wisdom Weavers are accepting nominations for their executive board for the 2025-26 school year. The following positions are open and individuals can submit their nomination at <a href="https://forms.gle/Srzp6j91tzEBBQ4J6" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">https://forms.gle/Srzp6j91tzEBBQ4J6</a> until Friday May 9th.  </span></p>

    <p><span> <strong>Co-Presidents</strong></span><span><strong> </strong>–(2 positions)  it shall be the duty of the Co-President to:</span></p>
    <ul>
    <li><p><span>Organizing and planning meetings</span></p></li>
    <li><p><span>Preside over meetings of the club</span></p></li>
    <li><p><span>Calls special meetings of the club when appropriate</span></p></li>
    <li><p><span>Prepare and record official files and records of the club</span></p></li>
    <li><p><span>Maintain contact with organizations/alumni/affiliated university department</span></p></li>
    <li><p><span>Finding resources, networking, events, volunteering opportunities</span></p></li>
    <li><p><span>Represents the club to the university and organizations</span></p></li>

    <li><p><span>Keep an itemized account of all receipts, expenditures and make reports as directed</span></p></li>
    <li><p><span>Pays club bills, if any with the assistance of the faculty advisor (s)</span></p></li>
    <li><p><span>Prepares an end-of-semester and annual budget reports</span></p></li>
    <li><p><span>Maintains a financial history of the club</span></p></li>
    <li><p><span>Advises members on financial matters</span></p></li>
    <li><p><span>Coordinate fundraising drive</span></p></li>
    <li><p><span>Regular report of the available funds in each officers’ meeting</span></p></li>

    <li><p><span>Keep a record of the club’s accomplishments and activities</span></p></li>

    and Dr. Jamie Gurganus, the Senior Design instructors, extend a warm invitation

    <p><span>We're
    thrilled to present the progress of 18 teams as they share their projects,
    tracing the path from the inception of their ideas to the refinement of their
    final products. The Mechanical Engineering &amp; Multidisciplinary Capstone
    teams have dedicated themselves tirelessly over the semester or year (~15 weeks
    or 9 months) to ensure excellence in their creations. We extend a warm
    invitation to the community to join us in witnessing the final stages of
    development before graduation.</span></p>
    
    <p><span>Please
    know that we have several ASME Professional Engineers joining us
    that day who will be asking the majority of the questions. They will
    be selecting awards for ASME Best Project and ASME Best Presentation
    of the Semester. And, YOU will also be able to vote for the People’s Choice
    Award. Although <strong>ALL</strong> of them are amazing! </span></p>

    <p><span>We
    will have two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, each with
    presentations (ITE 237) followed by demonstrations (ENGR Atrium).<span>  </span>Seating will be limited in the presentations,
    but the atrium will be open to all.</span></p>
