Join the UMBC Faculty Development Center for a discussion of three chapters from the newly revised book Teaching with AI: A Practical Guide to a New Era of Human Learning by José Antonio Bowen and C. Edward Watson. The previous discussion focused on Chapter 8 "Cheating and Detection" and part of Chapter 9 "Policies." This session will continue to discuss course-level policies and move on to Chapter 10 "Grading and (Re-)Defining Quality". A brief summary of the previous discussion will be provided at the beginning of this session. This session is open to faculty and staff only.

We are seeking one female roommate for a furnished bedroom in a private single-family home in the Maiden Choice/Arbutus area, less than 1.5 miles from UMBC on the Purple Campus Shuttle route. Three grocery stores are nearby, and the shuttle offers convenient pickup and drop-off.

The home is shared with two female UMBC students/professionals and the landlord couple. We are looking for a respectful, tidy individual who values a quiet, clean, and inclusive living environment. Ideal candidates are UMBC or UMB Ph.D., graduate, or junior/senior undergraduate students.

• No cats or shedding animals (due to allergies)
• Documentation required (physician and veterinarian)
• Must remain in tenant’s room and be crated when unattended
• Tenant responsible for all pet care and cleaning

Lease Terms

• Summer: Mid-May – Mid-August
• Fall: August 2026 – May 2027
• Includes holidays, weekends, and semester breaks
