Honestly, I didn't hear of the alt-right until fairly recently and I'm still not sure of what it is? So, I was hoping someone would give me the rundown on it. Does it have anything to do with paleo-conservatism or related to fascism? Are y'all capitalists or some form of corporatism? Do y'all oppose liberalism, 'Murica's form of liberalism, or the democrats brand of liberalism? What are y'alls thoughts on democracy? I suppose some of those may come off as loaded question, but it's not my intent.

Not as important, but what's the deal with calling people cucks? Is it a euphemism for something, like having to watch while liberals are fucking you over? Or is it supposed to be took literally? Some guys are into that and want their girlfriend/wife to be fucked by the BBC. Also, what do y'all think would be an adequate punishment for the two rapists in the picture?

So, yeah, just the basics of Alt-right(ism?) will be good. I'll add further questions if I think of them. Thanks.

ME S-STEM Scholar's Research -- Ricardo Cardoza

Mr. Ricardo Cardoza, an ME S-STEM scholar, spent his 2016 summer time at The University of Virginia in Dr. Robert Kelly's laboratory. Ricardo conducted polarization scans, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and 100-hour bulk exposures to test the effects of aluminum ions on material properties of aluminum alloy. Aluminum alloy (AA) is commonly used in naval ships due to its low cost, high strength to weight ratio, and great resistance to uniform corrosion. Unfortunately, a localized corrosion known as intergranular corrosion (IGC) still occurs. When the alloy begins to corrode, aluminum ions are released into the solution the metal is sitting in. Ricardo's research is aimed to determine whether those ions affect the corrosion rate. His result has shown that the greater the aluminum concentration, the greater intergranular corrosion and initiation sights. In addition, low pH values in the solution and large exposure area make intergranular corrosion likely to occur.
