I.      Meeting with Deans

a.     Please, if you haven’t already, meet with your Deans

b.     Issues/Items from those meetings can be brought to our meeting with Sr. Admin (May 6)

II.      Sub-Committee Reports

a.     Advocacy Sub-Committee

1.     AFSCME Rep Stuart Katzenberg joining us April 29

2.     New items?

b.     Spring Workshop Sub-committee

1.     Monday, May 9 via Zoom

2.     Will create a flyer to share as well as an AFAC post

3.     Please encourage your adjuncts to attend
 

III.      Spring Initiatives

a.     Academic year contracts working with Provost’s office to uncover why people aren’t doing it, answer those concerns, and roll out to all colleges by Fall 2022.

1.     Matt Baker working with MLLI to establish yearlong contracts

2.     Has made some progress

3.     Will address this issue with Dean Moffitt (for deeper CAHSS adoption)

IV.      Election Committee

1.     Mary and Bonnie setting this up

2.     Seats open are: 2 CAHSS (Currently held by Rob, Mina-finishing Farah’s term); 1 COEIT (Paul’s seat); 1 CMNS (held by Bonnie)

3.     Need to finalize dates for nomination and voting
