a.     Ideas from Committee

b.     Chair’s list: Create small discussion groups around adjunct issues (in-person/virtual), do an annual conference in Spring 2023, renew reaching out to individual departments that have adjuncts that aren’t directly represented on committee

c.     Seat for AFAC on University Steering Committee

d.     Update Best Practices document

    II.      New Committee Member Introduction

a.     Jill Vasbinder (Dance/CAHSS)  won our first ever run-off.

   III.      Introducing President to AFAC on Sept. 19

a.    Have 30 minutes

b.   Giving her the historical view

c.    Will share issues of success and areas for improvement (pay equity, benefits, more balanced treatment of adjuncts, etc…)

d.   Our role in shared governance.

e.    Invite her to one of our meetings
