UMBC Adjunct Faculty Advisory Committee Meeting

    I.      Elections Subcommittee

a.     Start planning election for this semester.

b.     Finalize dates/structure and then post to our MyUMBC group

    II.      Updates on Adjunct Conference

a.      Updates since last meeting (change of date)

b.     Keynote speakers (new president?)

c.     Dean Moffitt offered to play a role (speaker?)

d.     Coffee mugs as giveaway

    III.         Natalie Groom Grant application

a.     Will still need to provide program for Provost’s final approval

b.      For a June event so need to decide by May 1

  IV.      Meeting with Senior Administration

a.      For next meeting think about big issues we want to push on

b.     Doing away with reading the “Chair’s Report” and really using the meeting to focus on issues that haven’t found a way to get addressed/answered

c.
