To all adjunct faculty at UMBC:
The annual elections for the Adjunct Faculty Advisory Committee (AFAC) are now beginning.
We will need nominees, including self-nominees, from all Colleges and for non-College adjunct faculty: one position in CNMS, three positions in CAHSS, two positions in COEIT, and one position to represent non-College adjunct faculty.

Nominations will be solicited for a week. Please submit your nomination with your candidate's statement.*

Once candidates' statements are posted, voting will be open as soon as possible for the following week. We should know the final vote by or near end of semester, May 24-25.
New AFAC members will be invited to join in meeting with President Hrabowski and senior UMBC administrators in late May or early June.
