2. Trauma Aware Teaching Workshop Update, October 17 (Norman)
a. Current # of registered faculty

3. Faculty Senate Discussion
a. Follow-up with Orianne Smith (President, Faculty Senate)
b. Face a structure of Senate that’s based on Department, and does not have "Identity" seats
c. FS Executive Committee suggested creating a “Info Sheet” for new faculty (ft/pt) that identifies their senator, their role, and how to contact them.
d. Still thinking about requesting a change in by-laws that would allow any faculty member with 3 years of experience to be a senator
e. As it was the University Steering Committee that requested we reach out to FS, I’m going back to them with results, and once again asking for AFAC to have a seat as part of shared governance
4. Follow-ups from last meeting
a. Adjunct Health Insurance (Farah/Maggie)
b. By-Law Adjustments (Margie…should we make this a sub-committee?)
5. ADJ III will go out to around 27 adjuncts (4 AFAC members, congratulations), notified by email
a. Will follow the requirements for Senior Lecturer
b. Will most likely take entire semester to get final approval
c. Qualifying adjuncts will need to notify Dean/Department of intent to apply
d. Title/bump will take place in Fall 2021
