This position is located in the Center of Urban Ecology at the National Capital Region (NCR) in Washington, D.C.This position is located in the Center for Urban Ecology at the National Capital Region in Washington, DC. The incumbent will work with the National Capital Region Network of the NPS Inventory and Monitoring Division (http://science.nature.nps.gov/im/units/ncrn/).
The incumbent serves as the Biological Science Technician and is responsible for routine biological science tasks common to natural resource management. Incumbent collects and records field data and provides preliminary assessment and classification of the information. Provides logistical support, ensures quality control, and solves operational problems within the scope of the incumbent's knowledge and authority.
