The candidate will focus on laboratory work dedicated to the development of assays to support product characterization. Duties include preparation of assay procedures and reagents, data reduction and analysis and assay/data documentation. The Research Assistant will apply lab techniques and knowledge to assist in experimental planning and design to support new assay development; independently analyze data and interpret results; collaborate on technical documents and reports; and interact with project management to answer questions regarding assay performance and results.
The successful candidate will possess a BA/BS plus 1-3 years of industry experience. Previous laboratory experience with SDS-PAGE, Western Blot Analysis, ELISA and Softmax is a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment are essential. MS Office skills required.
