Under general supervision, provide moving and delivery services to all departments on campus. Set-up and breakdown special events as requested by campus departments. Deliver tables, chairs, and other furniture as directed. Rearranging offices and common spaces.
Work Hours - Weekday schedules depend on class schedules for students, but generally 7:30-11: 30 am or 12:30-3: 30 pm. Occasional weekend and evening work is required of these positions. Hours cannot exceed 20 per week.
Must be a registered UMBC student and currently enrolled in classes.
Must have excellent communications skill and be able to follow directions.
MUST BE RELIABLE - show up to work on time, when scheduled.
Must have a valid driver’s license
Prior moving experience desired but not required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
