This is a great volunteer opportunity! UMBC will have a booth at the second annual U.S. Science and Engineering Fesitval and the CWIT Student Council and SWE have been asked to help staff the booth on Sunday, April 29th from 10am-4pm. The event is being held at the Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. We will be doing science/engineering demonstrations and are expecting thousands of people to come by - so we really need all the help we can get! Transportation and lunch will be provided! If you can commit to only half a day, that's also fine- please specify this on the form.
